Summer always makes me reach for a drink that tastes like the season, and Peach On The Beach does that without trying too hard. Its bright, slightly tart, and the peach flavor sings when you pair vodka with a fresh peach slice for garnish.

I find the colors alone make people curious, a little sunset in a glass that promises something playful. The first sip feels like a tiny secret, something I keep wanting to share but also hold back, and yes I call it my go to for Peach Vodka Drinks Easy.

Not precious, just fun, a mistake waiting to happen in the best way.

Ingredients

Ingredients photo for Peach On The Beach Recipe

  • Vodka adds warmth and alcohol bite, no protein, no carbs besides alcohol calories
  • Peach schnapps gives bold peach sweetness and aroma, packed with sugar and extra calories
  • Peach nectar supplies real peach flavor, some vitamin A and natural sugars, little fiber
  • Orange juice brings citrus tang and vitamin C, adds tartness to cut sweetness
  • Cranberry juice gives color and bright tartness, has antioxidants but low in fiber
  • Ice chills and dilutes making the drink smoother, peach slice adds aroma and freshness
  • Club soda optional for fizz, very low calories, makes it lighter and more bubbly

Ingredient Quantities

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka (about 45 ml)
  • 1 oz peach schnapps (30 ml)
  • 2 oz peach nectar or peach juice (60 ml)
  • 2 oz orange juice (60 ml)
  • 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice (about 45 ml) for color and a little tartness
  • Ice, plenty of ice cubes
  • Fresh peach slice or wheel for garnish
  • Optional: splash club soda or lemon lime soda if you want a bit of fizz

How to Make this

1. Fill a cocktail shaker about 3/4 full with plenty of ice cubes.

2. Pour in 1 1/2 oz vodka (about 45 ml) and 1 oz peach schnapps (30 ml).

3. Add 2 oz peach nectar or peach juice (60 ml) and 2 oz orange juice (60 ml).

4. If you want the drink fully blended add 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice (about 45 ml) to the shaker now, otherwise leave it out for step
7.

5. Put the lid on and shake hard for 8 to 10 seconds, till the shaker is cold on the outside. dont overdo it or you’ll water it down.

6. Fill a tall glass with fresh ice, then strain the shaken mix into the glass.

7. If you left the cranberry out for color, slowly pour the 1 1/2 oz cranberry juice over the back of a spoon so it floats and gives that sunset look, or just splash a little on top for tartness.

8. Optional: top with a splash of club soda or lemon lime soda for a little fizz.

9. Garnish with a fresh peach slice or wheel on the rim, stick in a straw and enjoy.

10. Tip: chill your juices and vodka beforehand, taste and tweak the cranberry or peach levels to suit your sweetness, and use big ice cubes to keep it cold longer without diluting too fast.

Equipment Needed

8. Short spoon or small pourer for fizzy splash and final tweaks (optional)

FAQ

Peach On The Beach Recipe Substitutions and Variations

  • Vodka: swap with white rum (softer, a bit sweeter), gin (adds a herbal juniper note), or blanco tequila for a brighter agave kick. For nonalcoholic try extra peach nectar plus club soda.
  • Peach schnapps: replace with peach liqueur or peach brandy, or stir in 1 oz peach puree + 1/2 oz simple syrup to get the same sweet peach punch.
  • Peach nectar/juice: use mango or apricot nectar for a similar texture and sweetness, or muddled fresh peaches with a little extra orange juice.
  • Cranberry juice: swap with pomegranate juice or tart cherry juice for color and tartness, or a small splash of grenadine if you want sweeter color only.

Pro Tips

– Chill everything first — juices, vodka and the glass, its way easier to keep the drink cold and you wont need to drown it in ice later.

– Use big ice cubes or even frozen peach slices as ice, they melt slower so the drink stays stronger and less watered down.

– Shake only hard enough so the shaker gets cold on the outside, dont overdo it or youll water it down; short and vigorous is better than long and sloppy.

– For the sunset look, slowly pour the cranberry over the back of a spoon so it floats and sinks slowly, or pour it onto the glass rim for a quicker swirl.

– Taste as you go and tweak the balance, add more cranberry for tartness or more peach for sweetness, and if you want fizz add a splash of club soda at the end so you dont lose the layers.
